Holy Word Lutheran School exists to glorify God and to further his kingdom through Biblical and spiritual training of children; through Gospel-centered ministry to families; through quality academic training; and through ministry-minded service to Jesus.

Who we are
Holy Word Lutheran School is operated as a Christian elementary school by Holy Word Lutheran Church. It was begun in 1974 to provide children with a well-rounded Christian education.
Our school is one of more than 360 elementary schools within the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Approximately 30,000 children are enrolled in these schools, which are staffed by over 2,000 dedicated teachers. These teachers have received their degrees from Lutheran colleges.
Why our church supports a school
Our elementary school helps to fulfill our Christian responsibility to spread the good news of salvation. With regard to children, our obligation to teach the gospel and nuture spiritual growth is extended even further. Parents and superiors are held accountable by God for proper spiritual training.
We teach that
Jesus Christ is the only Savior for all the people of the world.
The Bible is God's complete source and authority for Christian faith and life.
The message of God's love in Jesus is to be shared with everyone.
